The japs (who else when in comes to crazy inventions) came up with a super shock-absorbing gel called beta gel, developed by Geltec Corporation. This is the successor of alpha gel, already used in many products and trust me, you'll be amazed when you see it in action. In order to test it, they dropped an egg from a 72-feet tall building on a slim sheet of beta-gel. Amazingly, it didn't have a scratch.
