Atlas foundry propane tank explosion


The explosion at Atlas Foundry took place on October 6th 2007 in Tacoma, Washington. The initial explosion happened while a delivery truck loaded with about 8,000 gallons of propane exploded at Atlas Castings and Technology near the intersection of Interstate 5 and State Highway 16 around 3 p.m. Saturday. The blast was felt for miles.
