She bails out of her car because she knows it's going to crash. The car isn't stopping because of the snow, and she wants to avoid injury. It's not that these people are really bad drivers; it's just that they underestimated the ability of the snow to cause their cars to skid. Cool video, though I feel bad for these drivers.
